The Washington State Library collects, preserves, and makes accessible materials on the government, history, culture, and natural resources of the state. The Library provides leadership and coordinates services to all libraries in the State of Washington. Additionally, the Library supports information needs of residents in state institutions, serves as the primary source in the region for published information from the federal government, and acts as the primary state publication depository.

Digital Projects Archivist, Washington State ArchivesThe ALL Foundation facilitated funding to digitize historical scrapbooks created by Washington’s 13th Secretary of State, Ralph Munro. This support allows us to provide online access to these records, which document an elected official’s 20-year career in state government. Creating access to records that give citizens a vital account of their public government is a core mission of State Archives, and ALL Foundation helped us accomplish just that!

We’re also able to engage youth patrons’ minds and creativity through accessible gaming, interactive, accessible programming, and collaborative state-wide events. Support also allows for technology improvements and enhancements for audiobook production, making more accessible books and reading material available for WTBBL patrons and persons with print disabilities nation-wide, helping ensure that all may read.
